Enjoy Fresh Local Organic Veggies!
Do you ever wonder where your food comes from, when it was picked, what is in it, or if it is safe and nutritious? Some of us in the community have partnered with local farmers to make sure we know what we put on our family’s table. By eating smarter, we also help New York’s small farmers. Our goal is to allow Flushing residents to have direct access to high-quality, organic, super-fresh food grown locally by regional farmers.
Join Flushing Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) for the 2017 harvest season (25 weeks from June 1 – November 16, 2017). Our pick-up location for share distribution is Flushing Town Hall, located at 137-35 Northern Blvd. in Flushing, New York. Distribution will be on Thursdays from 5:00 to 8:00 pm (shares not picked up by 8:00 p.m. will be forfeited).

When you become a CSA member, you’re purchasing a “share” of vegetables from a local farmer. CSA members support our farmers by sharing in the inherent risks of agriculture (poor weather, drought, disease, early frost, crop failure and so on) and rewards (the bounty from a good season!) Therefore while Golden Earthworm Farm will act in good faith to provide fresh organic produce for the 25-week season, there is no guarantee of quantities or contents of weekly shares.
