FlushingCSA will host a Mid-Winter Food Festival on Saturday, February 6 at 2 PM at the Flushing Friends Meetinghouse, 137-16 Northern Boulevard, Flushing, New York 11354. We will have cooking demos by Flushing CSA volunteers highlighting the winter vegetables provided by a regional farm, as well as preserved and canned summer produce. There will be environmental speakers, plus local vendors displaying and selling local organic honey, homemade jams, baked goods, almond butter, olive oil and spices. There will also be a raffle featuring vegetable cooking themed prizes. We will also have in-person early sign-up for the 2016 Flushing CSA spring/summer season.
